Vibram is a type of sole unit used by Merrell. The special sole is famous as it is lightweight and flexible but durable. Vibram soles are said to provide excellent traction and resistance and to easily cope with high abrasion surfaces. Vibram soles are the perfect solution for performance footwear.

What is Q form?

Q form addresses the anatomical differences in Men’s and Women’s feet. Merrell argue that men and women’s feet are so mechanically different that footwear design should take this into consideration. Q Form is a specifically designed mid sole for women, it provides corrective positioning, support and cushioning to encourage exceptional comfort and performance.

What is Prima Loft?

Prima Loft is a soft insulation used in Merrell footwear which is lightweight and water resistant. Prima Loft is made from 50% recycled materials which are weaved together to keep out the cold and damp.
What is zero drop?

Traditional running shoes elevate the heel of the foot approximately 8-12mm above the front of the foot. This encourages you to strike with your heel, which then puts lots of pressure on your hip and leg joints. Merrell Barefoot shoes do not lift the heel, this is what they call zero drop. You ultimately feel as if your feet are on the ground and it feels like you are running barefoot.
What is Optiwarm Fabric?

Optiwarm fabric is simply low bulk warmth. It is synthetic insulation which is very warm but is highly compressible for easy packing.
